Hello all,
I recently bought a Springfield M1A and love it. I was wondering what the rifle is zeroed at from the factory. I do not know if this has been posted before, but can some one point me at the right information? |

Set the windage to Mechanical zero. Bottom out the elevation then come up 8-10 clicks. Set your target at 25 yards, and zero about 1.5 inches above point of aim. That should give a close to 200 yard combat zero for the M14. Well, that's the old school method. I don't know what they are doing these days. If you have a 200 yard range, you can do a 200 yard target zero, set your windage knob at 200 yards, then adjust your come ups as your range increases. |
