Anyone have experience with Moses or Thermold FAL metric mags?
How did they work? Any other companies make reliable mags?? |

Anyone have experience with Moses or Thermold FAL metric mags? How did they work? Can they be modified to fit a Scar17? I bought a couple of Thermold mags. They wouldn't work in my Inch Century receiver. I have a couple of Moses mags that I got used with a different Century FAL I bought. THey are good to go. BTW, Moses has gone underground, leaving a bunch of people with mags paid for but undelivered. |

I know people don't like them, but I've been using DSA mags without issue. I wouldn't trust my life to them And all 3 of my FALs are from DSA Figured if their 30rd mags weren't that good then their 20rd mags weren't either |

I have the 20 round mag that came with my DSA Para. Works fine, but I have forty surplus mags, so I don't need to chance another. I have yet to try out the 30 rd. mag.
Gunthings has Israeli and Austrian magazines. Keep your eyes peeled on Gunjoker, the EE, and FAL Files Marketplace for surplus mags. For some great entertainment, read through the Moses mag adventure threads in this forum and in the Reviews section on FAL Files. Regardless of the quality of the product (great), the guy's a fraud. |
| I'd stick with original FN FAL magazines. No better quality or reliability. I bought 5 or 6 DSA magazines (I mixed and matched some 20rd and some 30rd magazines) and they were all not very reliable. I definitely would not trust any to my home defense or other real life purposes when your life is on the line. |
