I have not heard of Exigent Defense before but I am not an SME on suppressors. In fact this is my first centerfire suppressor. I jumped into the suppressor world with both feel and bought the LE556 (inconel 14.2oz, 5" direct thread) and the Overwatch762 (10.1oz, titanium, 6.75") Any opinions? |
| I have their FT556 which the LE is more my speed but I’m not a DT guy. I will say finally having shot it this weekend. Quietest 5.56 can I’ve shot in a sbr. This was on an 11.5 and i was pretty astounded. Now it’s not the most flow through design so I’ll have to tune some. But sound was incredible. No ears was comfortable. I mean it reminded me of my AEM5 on my mod H |

As far as being higher gasses, couldn't the individual gun AND the ammo be important variables too? |

Yes, gas port, buffer weight, and ammo will all play a role. |
| I first got the vanish 556 after watching YouTube Kentucky ballistics & was glad I did , it sounds awesome on an 11.5 . Later picked up the FT556 that pretty much stays on a 12.5 , latest addition has been the Rico 309 so far all of the Exigent cans have been home runs. |

Which brings up an excellent point, most of the videos I've seen on a properly ported and gassed carbine the FT556 does extremely well. I mean out of the box, specifically referencing the SOLGW MK1. I'm assuming my roscoe I shot it on has a pretty substantial gas port. |
