I have these blades laying around of good material and cut them into these.....0.140" thick 5160 carbon steel with 2.50" double flat ground edge and serrated top cutting edge. It will be finished in black K&G Gun Kote and black Line-X handle with kydex sheath. The originals were meant to be used as last ditch knives on a vest or pack and they fit into the 5-11 boot pocket on the new tac boots. When on the vest they look like a rescue hook and can be grabbed by the handle and finger ring and pulled down. The prototype was sent to a local martial arts school for trials with no sharp edges or point and they found it could not be knocked out of your hand or taken away without serious injury to the opponent. I am happy with that! Lol...
