Anyone know anything about dragunovs?  Who's the manufacturer?  Is there a ban on them?  I am aware of the romaks.  Are those just an imitation or what?

I'm not 100% sure, but the Romak 3 is Romania's answer to the dragunov.  Rpk reciever and all.  I know of Chinese Dragunov's in the country, ie Norinco I would think.  I hear they can do 1-2moa with good good ammo, but they aren't meant to be Western Sniper rifles.  They are like SAW's and a russian platoon usual has one.  From what I've read they do their intended purpose very well.  *cough* check out www.gunsnet.net/forums/index.php?s= and check the ak47 forums out as they have a few people on there who know more.  Also seek out the DesantnikVDV Corner forum as he served in the russian paratroopers and his board on there talks alot about the russian weaponry.
