[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Crap Problem status

Well just found out I went into problem status on 9/7. What do you all know about that? Any experiences or reasons? Also how long after I get it back to them before it turns back around? It has been pending almost 4 full months. Farris.

Well lucky I bought this for myself on Saturday to occupy my time.

Generally once you correct whatever has put you in problem status you are bumped right to the top of the pile and approved shortly thereafter.

It depends on what the "problem" was. You'll usually have to wait to get the letter to find out what it is. But once fixed, its usually just fix it, mail it back, and they approve it and mail it back. Might take a day, but most of mine have been back with in a week of me fixing the issues.

I just had a form 4 go problem because my SOT entered my FFL # on the paperwork incorrectly. He received the paperwork, corrected it and sent it back the same day. Once your examiner receives it, they usually turn them around pretty quickly.
