I am new to reloading andjust bought a hornady lock'n'load classic kit.  I have read the hornady manual and it is very good but only covers hornady bullets obviously.  Is there a comprhensive manual that covers most of the bigger bullet makers or do i just have to buy a manual from each bullet manufacturer i wish to use?  I was also looking for a comprehensive excel spreadsheet onlne, does such a thing exist?  that would bee cool to just print out the spreadsheets you want and binder them or just use my laptop.

Thanks in advance

You need to buy the manuals, bullet makers don't give away data.

Powder makers do.

Go up to the links, lots of loading data on line.

The bullet makers will make a manual only using their products.

Why would they want to include the competition?

But.........LEE on the other hand?

Anyway, it's good to have several manuals and/or several web sites (in your favorites).

I'm new to reloading also and I really like my Lee 2nd addition book. Also depending on what powder you use its prob available online. Just check their websites. Just get some books and go from there. They are nice to have.

thats what i was getting at, i see lee, lyman, and then "the complete guide to [pick a cartridge]"  i assume these do not have any reason not to print comprehensive data sine they dont make components.  are there others? is one particulary better than aother?

The hornady is very good and i really like the way it is layed out for graphing power types and velocity for specific weights.  i also like the backrgound and historical info on each cartrige.  I will use  lot of hornady bullets but i also wanted some heavier than they make for say 300 whisper.

but back to the original, is there a book that have a lot of loading data for many poders and bullets?

Load Books USA has load data by cartridge that is a copy of all/most of the powder/bullet manufacturers data in one book. Will even cover rifle and pistol data where applicable. The catch is it may not be the most recent data. Will be close enough if the book is recent copyright.

If I was limited (funds) to 3 reloading manuals, they would be Hornady 7, Sierra 5, and Lyman 49.

The Lyman has jacketed and cast bullet data for rifle and pistol
.

If you reload for awhile, you will end up with a few.
