I called Colt Manufacturing (extension 1407 Law Enforcement group) and asked if the LE6921 can accept a RDIAS and if the upper comes with a Full Auto bolt carrier.  The gentleman on the line thought that a RDIAS would make the rifle an illegal machinegun and really did not understand what a RDIAS is.  Kind of scary really.

I have an LE 6921 in transfer (have not handled the weapon yet) and need to know two things:

1. Will the unmodified lower accept a steel DIAS
2. Does Colt provide these rifles, from the factory, with Full Auto bolt carriers

Thanks in advance

It's my understanding that the M4LE marked lowers do have the unmachined web block just like the 6520, 6721, 6920 so a RDIAS is a no go.

All new production rifles come with the full auto carrier.

Post this in the Colt forum and you may be able to get some pics.
