So I am building a sbr for my son to deer hunt with. And I want to do a fde type color. I have done krylon and dura coat before. I wNt something that will last better. I'm looking into diy because I can't swing $150 to have a upper, lower, handguard coated. So what's the best, easiest to use? Kg gunkote norels? Brownells has a gun kote in a spray can? Thanks for any help or tips.

I have used the Norrels and it has held up well.  That said which ever way you go it's all about the proper prep work prior to finishing and you will get a better finish with an airbrush than a rattle spray can.
