Today I made about 600 9mm bullets. They came out decent enough for my purposes and I've got them powdercoated. Last run is in the oven right now. I had to put 2 coats of powder on them as the first coat did not adhere good (it's pretty humid today). I have never had to use 2 coats before on 9mm.

My problem comes as I go to size them. I put one in my lee .356 sizing die and it won't budge. So I try a different bullet and it's the same. I grab my calipers and measure about 5 or 6 of them and they are all .360 on the money. The two coats of powder has made them too big to go through.

Is there any way to get these sized down enough to make them usable? Would lube be an option, if so what kind?

I never had a issue with .004 over on a push thru die.

Check your die, Lee has a reputation if being under what is listed.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I was using the wrong size pusher.

Kinda hard to put a .452 pusher through a .356 hole.

That's hilarious in a been there done that sort of way.

Those are the type of problems we all like. The ones where the solution is obviously correct.

I don't size them unless I can't get them to chamber otherwise.

You know what. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
