I've been slowly building a cartridge collection over the years.  Mostly just stuff I find at the range or in the junk pile at the local shops.  Does anyone know of another way to get single pieces of brass, especially in weird calibers?

I'm particularly interested in trying to finish a set of all WWII cartridge cases.

I think Huntington's sells individual cases, and they stock some really obscure shit.

That's exactly what I'm looking for, thank you.  But it's kinda confusing and are they really asking $12.00-$19.95 a case?  How do you know what costs what?

There was a dude on here (arfcom) a year or so back who's kids built an AWESOME collection/presentation for school (or scouts I think) he posted pics and the kids won some awards from it. It was cool.

Check that thread if you can find it and see where he got some of those cartridges.

What do you have and what do you need? Are you looking for fired brass or loaded cases? I'm sure a lot of members here would send you brass either outright in in trade. I would certainly trade brass or loaded cartridges.

I just wanted a single piece of fired or unfired, unloaded brass.  I have a pretty decent collection going now and it's a great conversation piece when we hang out in the man room.

If anyone has any they would like to donate, sell or trade...shoot me an IM.  If you've got a decent number, I'll pay for them and shipping.  If you have 1-2 that you'd like to donate or trade, I'm sure we could ship them in first class mail envelopes (however much a stamp costs these days)

For WWII collection.  I'm looking for:
British: .303, .38 S&W
Russian: 7.62 Tokarev, 7.62x38R Nagant
Japanese: 7.7, 6.5, 8mm Nambu
German: .32 ACP
Italian: 6.5x52mm Carcano

Any or all in the Winchester Short Magnum line: .270, 7mm, .300, .325
Anything from the Remington Ultra Mag line: .300, 7mm, .338

.408 Cheytac and .416 Barrett (to join .338 and .50 BMG that I have)

Some commons that guys on the range never let drop :-) :
.220 Swift
.22-250
.25-06
6BR
6.5-284

Obscurish stuff:
6.8 SPC
6.5 Grendel
.300 Whisper
.30 Rem AR
.30-40 Krag
.45-70
.458 SOCOM
.50 Beowulf
Any big bore Nitro Expresss

Handgun: .25 ACP, .38 SPL, .357 Mag, 10mm, .45 GAP

10 Gauge Hull
28 Gauge Hull

Anything else you think would look cool on a shelf.

I recently started collecting cartridges.
http://www.ammo-one.com/ is a good place to get the ones you are really interested in, but can't find any where else. I bought from them several times, they are a bit on the pricey side though.

a few 303 british (S&B brass), 22-250 rem, 250 sav, 44 rem mag, 22 hornet, a few 22 mag, a steel cased 30 carbine (wolf), a few 8x57 js (S&B brass), and last but not least a case that has a 22 bullet, but the case is a bigger diameter, but the case is like a regular 22 (rimfire) looks like a small 22 bottleneck.

I have a .300 H&H case I could send you. Just got a bag of brass and culled a few. Not any good for shooting, but fine for a cartridge collection. Send me a few bucks and I could maybe part with a .450-400 Nitro Express 3" case.
