[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bushwacker scope covers

I'm going to buy some Bushwacker optic covers w/ killflash ARD but I'm not sure on the size: should I look at the OD (50mm) or the ID (40mm) of my scope' objective?

I just want to be sure because I've always bought Butler Creek covers and some of those Bushwacker covers seem to fit inside the scopes' objective.

does anybody here have experience with their stuff?
