His website says you send the trigger pack in, and he'll lighten up to around 4.5 lbs. Bold claim.  Anybody try it?

(......nothing wrong the way mine is.).

I'd say it's very bold.  Make up your own mind, but here's the data I collected a while back:

People still use him?

He's effed up a good many AR triggers in his time, from reading arfcom posts.
A lot of people raved about his work for a while, but it's been downhill from there.

Gun store story: but the new AUG's are supposed to have rails on both sides and this makes it a better trigger pull. True?

Hmm, maybe my AUG is off balanced because of the fifth rail.

Good luck getting it back.

I had him do a trigger job on a HK trigger group, and he did a fine job.  The trigger pull is great, and the work was done quickly.

That was maybe 7 years ago

I put in the Neutrigger that you can buy on GB for 30 bucks, and it's amazing what a differnce it makes.

It's a metal U shaped piece that you install in about 1 minute around the sear, and instead of the high friction fron the plastic hammer on the plastic sear, the metal smooths things out.

Have not fired it yet, but dry firing is very much better.

I have this in my MSAR and it is wonderful.  IMHO it's the first upgrade any new AUG/MSAR owner should make, #2 being a decent optic.

I used a NeuTrigger in conjunction with a homemade spring force reduction doohickey, as designed by another member here, and some reworking of the engagement surfaces.
My trigger is short, light, reliable and drop-safe.
There used to be a thread where I posted some how-tos...

He did the trigger on my G-3 rifle and also the Noveske I had as I couldn't afford the Geiselle on a buck salary in the army.

Works well and it was light with no creeps.

He does a great job and turn around time is FAST.

Another happy user of Neu-Trigger.
Its the best Aug trigger job out there.

And the current A3 rifles have a decent trigger to begin with. Even better with the Neu-Trigger.

I was almost arrested for illegal nfa because of his shitty work.

At this point your best bet is the 2020 from Ratworx . Works great and until the Giesellie SSA-E trigger pack comes out it is by far your best option.

I sent him parts and he did a "trigger job" on an AR, trigger felt good, but I wasn't pleased with the method of how it was done.
Seemed to me it could have a high chance of failure.

I still have it in this, yet haven't shot it in probably 5 years.

I don't know.  I handed it back to the owner and walked away.  He disassembled it as we walked.    I only found out later who did the trigger work.

He did a H&K USP of mine & I could tell NO difference when I got the gun back. Waste of my $$$, IMO.

I don't know about the red part, IMO.

My A3 I got this year had what felt like an 8lb trigger pull.

While I sure didn't expect a 2lb pull of a target rifle, I also didn't expect such a heavy pull. Like many others, I also went with the Neu-Trigger & have been much impressed as well as satisfied with the now 4lb~ trigger pull.
