There was a guy in EE selling a ton for around $30. They were used and scratched up and I'm sure long gone but deals do come by every so often. I should of gotten a dozen myself but the dozen or so I have works for me but I'd like about 30 mags total before I feel comfortable. Anyway I'm going off on a tangent but my point is to look at used online for the best deals. |

They used to be more expensive. "Hen's teeth" is what everyone you asked would say. $100 if you could find them at all in the early 2010s. Knew of a guy who worked oilfield and shot 3 gun who bought two 17s just to get the second mag. There were also guys buying magpul 308 mags and sanding them down and notching them for the SCAR. $50 isn't as nice as $35, but adjusted for inflation it's still not that bad. With a quick search, JoeBobOutfitters seems to have them in stock at $55, which for today isn't great, for 2017 would be lousy, but for 2012 would be amazing just because they're there. |
