I've got a 7.62x39 barrel for my XCR that I'm itching to send off to Adco to cut, pin and flute. The 7.62x39 XCR uses 5/8x24 threads.
Originally, I was planning on the FSC30. But I've heard so much good things about the BC, that I am considering going with a BABC. I have read the long thread on m4carbine.net and others. I'm mostly looking to knock the edge off the muzzle rise and recoil, without blasting those next to me. My questions are: 1) is the BattleComp that much better than the FSC to justify double the price? 2) how difficult is it to clean? The FSC is pretty open...the BABC looks like it'd be hard to clean. I shoot mostly Wolf MC at the range. I don't care about looks...frankly I think they're both pretty ugly in their own ways, but then again I think the XCR is kinda ugly. Still love it though. Thanks for any input. |
