Hey guys. I live in Houston, Tx and am looking for a local gun smith that can thread my .22 barrel on my Savage for a good price. I have got a can that will be in in the next month or so and wanted to be ready. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the note. It looks like the threading will be $65 and the barrel matching thread protector will be $45. With tax, I am looking at roughly $120.
Is this close to the going rate to have this done? Anybody?

Their is a gunsmith I use (haven't used him for threading yet) on the north side here in Spring, the name of the place is Match Grade Arms
