I'm considering getting a GHM9, and I am having a hard time visually figuring out the difference between the 1st and second generation versions. Can anyone help with a picture or explanation? Thanks! |

Yes, it's a gen 2. Another way to tell is the top rail. The gen 1 has uninterrupted rail slots the entire length on the top of the receiver. If you compare it to the gen 2 you posted above you can see there is a portion of the receiver right where the handguard attaches that does not have rail slots. |
