Anyone try a Auto Ordnance TM1C (M1 with aluminum reciever)?

Any thoughts on Auto Ordnance or the M1 in general?

Never tried the light receiver.
General thoughts- heavy.  I had a M1 and made it a SBR.  Was good shooter once I polished the feedramp to load 100% which it would not from the factory.  In the end it was too heavy for what it did and with the long 16" barrel you would want to make a SBR of any that you have to look anyhow.

Check these links. I am not the only one who hates Auto-Ordnance

If you read thru the links I gave you will see that there are some QC issues at Kahr. I have done a lot of polishing and fitting of parts in order to make the 27 function decent. The drums are a lost cause but the one you are inquiring about doesn't accept the drum anyway. For the price they ask and the poor quality/customer service they have, much better could be purchased.

I had one for a while.  Nothing wrong with the rifle per say, but I had to tinker with every magazine I had to get them to function right in the gun.  Overall, it is big, heavy and wastes a lot of ammo.
