Do you get notified once you are approved?
I've been following the timeline thread (and have my info there) and see where people are posting their approval dates before receiving the stamp, I called and got my pending date...but it seems like that would be near impossible to do for the approval date. |

Thanks. That's ridiculous though. I don't need to know that bad. You won't say that when you call and find out it was approved 5 weeks ago and the seller or FFL just never called you or didn't receive the stamp. I'm not waiting on a seller or FFL for my current pending stamp. I guess it's just not my style to be the guy that calls every week just to find out. |

I'm not either, I'm 4 1/2 months into my 4th stamp and only called on it twice now, but that scenario happened to me before. FFL said he didn't have my phone number when the .22 can came in even though he called me when the P22 came in and when he was done threading the 10/22 barrel for me. I could've taken possession of my can over a month earlier had I been making a 30 second phone call once a week. Not a huge deal, but shit after waiting 6 months or whatever adding another month to it is salt on the wound. Still could come up on a Form 1, they approved and shit gets lost in the mail. |
