Have several pair. (Mine, wife, and 2 grown kids) They're actually pretty good for the price. Just don't put lithium batteries in them. They won't work very well. Only issue on my oldest set is the volume knob, have to click it on and off a few times to get the sound working. It does cut off the report of the shots being fired at the range. I'd buy them again. |

Mine work good with lithiums. What happens to yours when you used lithiums? OP, I have two pairs of these and never had any issues with them. Can get a good cheek weld and they do what they're supposed to do. |

We sell both the electronic muffs shown above and the plain non-electric muffs at the range. We have sold A LOT of both. Haven't had any complaints and everybody seems to really like them. I'm still wearing a couple of pair of no name electrics I got on the recommendation of someone in a thread here on Arfcom 8-10 years ago. Only label is "Winchester". I keep trying to talk myself in to buying a pair of the Walkers but why, when I have two great working sets already  If you DON'T have any electric muffs, get some of the Walkers. Very good deal for the price shown. |

I have 3pairs currently. The 4th stopped working because the wires got really bent up and basically broke the wires inside. I upgrade them with these gel cups: NoiseFighters |

@thorn653 They just will not turn on. Energizer lithium batts. Not sure why, just will not work with them. Put regular alkaline in them and they work fine. The muffs are about 5 years old or so. I will say, they have been used in the rain, snow, and freezing cold, and summer heat. I will buy again, if mine die. |

They are good ear muffs for the money regardless. |

While they are comfortable and seem well made, I didn't like the sound on mine. Gave them to a buddy and he loves them. I much prefer the Peltor Sport Rangeguard or HL Impact Sport coming in second. Sound is much better on both. Peltors take the nod for comfort. HL need gel cup upgrade. The Walkers seemed hard to discern the direction at which sound was coming from. |

I have a pair of Razors that I added gel pads. That was around $90 total. This is a hell of a deal. I was able to get another pair for $36 from Sam's when they went on sale a month or so ago. The only difference between the two now are the head band. They are basic and they are not the best audio quality, but they function for range. I also picked up the FRS Walkie Talkie attachment for the first one. It works well enough to get one for the second one. |

I have had a set for almost 10 years, the older set has the ear cups getting a little hard so I may order some gel ones. I also stuffed the free space inside them with foam to help the sound protection a bit. The original ones don't muffle as well as newer ones. The electronics in them are great. I had a pair on in the tree stand for the last 5 hours and my head doesn't feel crushed. (I hunt with a 16in, comped AR15 Grendel, there is no way I want even one round to go off without hearing pro) My newer ones have softer ear cups, so no complaints on the newer ones. |

I have two pair. The first set died immediately after purchase. RMA process was mildly painful, but the new pair is still ticking. Bought another pair for my son since they’re not that expensive and are good enough. Looked at the walkie-talkie add on but didn’t buy it. Saw a number of reviews that stated the plastic shell would break fairly easily. |
