Don't see new fps realm this powder gets you into and 5.56 already shots soft especially with something like a BattleComp so what's the marketing angle?  Alliant didn't have temp-sensitive 5.56 powder until now?

What am I missing?

What niche is this powder filling that is not already filled?

Regardless if the niche is filled, it brings about competion between the manufacturers.  Really see no downside.

Remember when Varget was a real bitch to find?  If(big if) this stuff can run with Varget, it gives loaders a decent substitute during times like that.

Sounds like it's very much like varget burn wise...but meters nicer like R-15.

Basically it sounds like it fills the gap between R-15 and R-10?

It's specifically for heavier .223 bullets...hope that helps.

heavier than...?

If it's faster burning than R-15 (which is slower than varget), wouldn't that mean it's for lighter bullets?

Yeah I saw that too but no it wasn't specific 69 + or 75+.  I am guessing 69 - 77 as it doesn't seem to have any Highpower mentions in their marketing scheme.  Nosing around on their website and there is a little data.
