I'm having a hard time finding load data for 9mm 147 gr. XTP bullets

I have two books (Hornady and Lymans) that give 5.6 and 6.5 as the max charge for a 147 gr projectile.  I've also checked the Lee, Speer, and Sierra manuals.  I'm not trying to get the hottest load possible, but I am a bit puzzled as to why they are so far off from each other.  I've gotten the impression that Hornady numbers are a bit more conservative, but those numbers are specifically for the type of bullet (XTP) so I an hesitant to just ignore it and go with a heavier charge.

Specifics:
9mm Luger
CCI Primers
Alliant Blue Dot Powder
Hornady 147 gr. XTP (JHP) bullet

I didn't save the info I had from loaddata.com when they had their free period so anyone with load info to share would be greatly appreciated.

The Hodgdon website has plenty of 147 gr. loads for the 9MM

Just for more information to compare:  Midways LoadMap Series 9MM
Hornady 147 XTP/HP
Blue Dot Powder
RP case
Win SP primer
Overall length tested 1.135"
4" test barrel
Start 5.2 grains-862fps-24600psi––––––5.3-879-25700––––––––5.4-896-26700––––––-5.5-913-27700––––––5.6-930-28800––––––5.7-947-29800––––5.8-964-30800
 5.9-981-31900 ––––––––-6.0-998-32900
From Midways test I wouldn't recommend any loads above 5.9 grains of Blue Dot with the 147XTP. Haven't used 147XTP's or Blue Dot myself but their data for 124 grain bullets are close to results I've tested.
Hornady's recommended seating overall length is 1.100 so Midways data tests them longer. Seating shorter raises pressure so take that into account working up your loads.

For what it's worth, 950 fps is pretty much a standard velocity for 147 grain bullets in 9mm.

As far as Hornady's load data goes, my chronograph shows .2 grain less, gives me the same velocities as their loads in 9mm. Meaning their data is pretty close to right on the money and my pistol uses slightly less powder to get the same results. YMMV.
