What is the ejection pattern on the 522 like?  Would you say it is safe for a left-handed shooter?

I'm not a lefty myself, but my current .22LR teachin' gun is a Walther G22 which is not lefty-friendly unless you want to pick brass out of your teeth.

I'd like to buy a 522 for myself, but it would definitely be awesome if I could justify it as something I can use to help with introducing new shooters that might be of the "confused" minority of handedness.

Mine is back and to the rear. Might be a problem for a southpaw.  Not sure if you could mod. a spent case catcher for a flat top to act as a deflector. For it when useing it left handed.

P.S. The chargeing handle reciprocates when you shoot. Might also be a problem.

Looks like either straight out on the right, or back and right.  Facebreaker for a lefty then.

But that looks like a lot of fun for me though!  Thanks for the vid.
