So, it looks like I will be loading 45 ACP when I get my MAC-10, with the prices of factory ammo. So I'm wondering if standard load 230 grain ball ammo is also the standard for fully automatic weapons. Is there a different standard load for M.G.'s?  If so, what are some standard loads that you are using. I have loaded 45 Colt for several years on a Dillon 550, so it wouldn't be hard to change over to 45 ACP.

I don't know anythign about SMG's but I have always used
5.6 grains of W231 in a 230 45acp. Work up slow, read a book, I don't assume liability...

Thanks, I have that same exact load referenced as good with suppressors too.
