No Glock......had 8 at one time, but not a Glock man anymore....... I would be buying them specifically for the futur MSAR STG-9mm Maybe it would be smarter to get a cool $1000 stashed for the gun first....haha I will have some stuff going on the EE very soon, gotta generate some slush fund to spend in August

it was in relation to the markup being seen at gunshows for newly released firearms, the MSAR being a new firearm on the market makes my post relative to this soon to be released firearm...and your's a weak and uneducated attack. |

| August = late summer. Seasons are 3 months long (4 per 12 month year). 3 months is nothing in the release date of a new firearm, especially when projecting a future date for a totally new product. I get the idea I won't see one before spring but will probably own one before next SHOT Show. |

How can it only be 4.5 lbs when the AUG Para weighs 7.27lbs? Is it because its recoil operated instead of gas operated, and less reserve mass or what? Also the PS90 is upwards of 6lbs. |
Oh man, I emailed MSAR today just checking on timeframe and price and if left handed bolts would be available and got this response:

The HK USC/UMP 45 ACP has a lighter bolt than most 5.56 bolt/bolt carrier combinations and its a blow back, so it can be done light. |
It does? Not starting a pissing match....frankly I don't care, but I have owned a USC and it has a pretty big heavy chunk of steel in her.....

Not intrested in a pissing match either. It has 6 years sence I took apart a USC. Thought a couple years ago over seas I did a fam fire and took apart a 9mm UMP and was amazed how light it was. With 8 inch barrel it was a roughly 4.5 lbs. Compared to the caputed MP-5 and Sterling I had recently handeled it was very light. Thats my more recent memory and I might be in error on the 45 ACP bolt. My impression with the UMP was that with modern materials and the right engineering how light a pistol caliber long gun could be. |

| What about the Kriss-TDI 45 mags that they are talking about putting out? Look for this video in youtube where they talk specifically about a 30rd glock modified mag (Kriss-TDI SHOTSHOW 2008 Part 1). This should fix the reliability issues, now if they could only make a 10mm one I would be good too go:) |
are you nuts.....KRISS is a girl's name. You need a gun the say's "MAN"! And that's the MSAR. All kidding aside MSAR's carbine will be chambered in 10mm. Problem fixed! M4

I am actually selling a couple items to get the cash for this now......... I hope I can sit on the cash until this is ready to sell. If I can't, I will just have to find the money again once it is out. Part of me wants a SIG 556 too......not one or the other, Both.....I know the rules. |

I don't know if I'll get an MCS, but I'm considering it. To me pistol caliber semi-auto SMGs are going the way of the dino for military/leo use, but this just looks like a damn fun gun to shoot. So, strictly for it's plinking appeal I think I may get one. I'm going to wrestle with this for a bit. |

Great news. MSAR will be getting my money for a 5.56 rifle and a 9mm rifle in the not too distant future. Best part is Glock 18 mags are cheap right now and if you carry a Glock you're set on both...kind of like Rugers concept with the PC carbines but much better quality and a OAL comparable to a SBR MP-5.
