I have a .44 mag lever gun with a threaded 16” barrel that I use for deer hunting. I would like to build a suppressor for it.  It will not be a can that I get super hot as a range toy.  I shoot cast bullets sometimes so I need to be able to take it apart to clean it. Would aluminum work for this?

I wouldn't have an issue using Al tube and end cap, but I'd make my first 1 or 2 baffles from Ti or SS, along with the mount.
