I have a G36 Flex, I had to return it because it quit working half way through hunting season. They sent me a new one it didn't work, so they sent me a third one.... that didn't work either. I contacted them on their website chat each time. The last time, after an hour or more they still couldn't figure it out. I got frustrated because I have spent probably three hours on chat. sent videos of the start up led lights, had to ship back two cameras and I'm just fed up with it. I hate to say the Spypoint cameras are junk, but that has been my experience. I would say buyer beware, I guess if you get one that works, you'll be happy but if you get one that doesn't (or three, like me), it's a nightmare. *** Follow up: Well, I've put hours and hours into chats, trying to get my camera figured out. Spypoint customer service made me jump through hoop after hoop, I really think they were just hoping I would give up and go away. They made me take pictures of every error message that I got when trying to update and format my cameras, like they didn't believe me. It turned out that the camera wasn't the issue, they sold me a defective sd card. The made me take pictures of the SD card, Invoices, delivery confirmation (I bought it from Amazon) take pictures of each, overall I think I sent them 20 pictures or videos. (of the camera, sd cards invoices, lights on cameras, etc. ) They wanted more videos, but their system wouldn't support sending files that big. They basically made me feel like I was trying to steal from them when I wanted them to replace the defective sd card they sold me. It was a huge run around, and keep in mind this was all because I got a defective item from them in the first place. They should be embarrassed how they treat their customers. I saved the chat logs, direct message me if you'd like to see them. Update. I finally got frustrated and asked if they could have a supervisor call me, then they just quit responding. I wish I had never bought one of these cameras. Its just not worth the grief. I guess I'm old fashioned if I expect something to work right out of the box, if you get one and have a problem with it, expect to spend hours on the internet getting the run around. |
