Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - which lightweight upper?

I bought a Bushy  Dissapator  flatop after 9-11 b/c that was all I could find. Put a eotech on it and love it. But it is a little heavy. Thinking about buying a lightweight upper, putting the eotech on it for a light and handy carbine. Which upper to buy?
PS I am thinking about keeping the Dis. upper and putting a 3.5X10/ 4x12 scope on it as a bit of a game gun. Thoughts etc?

Go for it.
Probably the cheapest way is with Model1sales and the lightest is with the Bushmastser superLW.
