| Rounded up a new 14.5 lmt upper.... got a vortex flash hider with the predrilled holes for the pinning to make it legal... will be tig welded this evening..after dressing up the tig welded area what is the best way to make it look like the factory parkerized finish...also will be buying a lmt lower in a couple of weeks..who has the best price's |

I'm interested in knowing as well, but I have a question for you. You say you got a predrilled Vortex. Where did you order a predrilled one from? I ordered a Vortex last night but I don't think it was predrilled.

I just picked up one of these Birchwood Casey Super Black pens. Got the flat finish one.

I then bead blasted the remaing Parkering off. I installed the brake and pinned it ligthly filed the pin down to the brake surface and then cold blue the brake. The color ended up being more black the blue I thing because of the rough surface fron blasting it. It is not a perfect match to the Park but it looks fine IMHO. Hope this helps. |
