if i'm running a semi BCG in my 10.5" pistol, what  buffer weight i should use? my pistol having ejection problem when i shoot .223, it shoot ok with 5.56

With a lighter than normal BCG (like a half circle or to a lesser extent a semi carrier)  I'd use an H buffer or switch to a FA BCG.

Who made your barrel? Your carrier?

What brand of ammo are we talking about here?



Most importantly what is your "ejection problem"?

For your ejection issue you may simply need to put the #60 oring around the extractor spring to help it grab a bit better.  My 10.5 with FA carrier and a H buffer runs without issue, that said I've run it with a regular buffer too w/o problems.

Most FTE issues with AR pistols can be solved with this:

extractor upgrade


for upgrades on buffer from what i have seen would be a H2 or Spikes ST-T2 Tungsten Buffer
