what buffer should i use on 11.5 .223 barrel? dont have money to try a bunch of defferent ones.

I use a H2 in mine because it works, however, it can vary widely depending on your particular set up & ammo used, if it's suppressed, etc. You'll find out what weight you need when you get to the range & shoot so having differnt buffers on hand might be a good idea.

go with what works in your AR

i'd start at least w/ the std CAR buffer; if you wanted to, i'd then opt for the H1/H2, just make sure its reliable

I also asked this question!  I contacted Specialized Armament and they suggested the H3.  Specialized is a main distributor for Colt rifles.
