[ARCHIVED THREAD] - assembly difficulty

I need a pic of how the hammer/disconnect/trigger all drop into place. I looked and watched the vid and pics in the thread stickied at the top but still hesitant on this part. Could someone take a pic of how it all goes together. I really need to see which direction the springs lay and all that jazz

Be careful not to forget the disconnector spring. It's barely shown in the pictures. Wide end goes down into the disconnector, narrow end sticks up.

I assembled my first lower tonight. The area I had trouble with was sliding the safety selector through. My trigger was blocking the channel ever so slightly which caused me to have to use a rubber mallet to get the selecter through to the other side. Is this normal?

Sometimes, but I wouldn't have used a rubber mallet...
