the problem is..
point of aim and point of impact does not coincide.
the poiint of impact is 2 inches and a half under the point of aim
and im at the max regulation of the aimpoint on the top...
i fired at 10, 27 and 55 yrd..same result..

what can i do?
is this a normal thing?

1- are your irons zeroed?  You can always reference those relative to the aimpoint.  Id have a hard time believing your ran out of adjustment on the sight.  If not, try and zero your irons.

2- possibly try moving the mount back a slot, if your rail isn't level with your reciever and you're bridging them, it could throw off your mount.

3- Is your barrel perpendicular to the rail system?

4- Without being insulting, you do understand how to zero an aimpoint or any other optic in terms of what the adjustments mean, correct?

It is unusual, my aimpoints usually center just a few clicks from center. You could always toss a shim (very slim) under the spacer to bring the MOA up.

is the mount sitting down on the rail? is the cross bolt down in the slot all the way?  maybe bad mount? Is aimpoint screwed down to mount all the way?
never heard of american defense

well... i need to send the moa down 2 inches...
and i havent more clicks to do it...

maybe i can solve the problem using a spacer a bit low...

but i need to do more try...cause my iron are not zeroed...
so maybe is better i will zero it and then allign the dot

Try a Larue LT-660 mount. If it is still not right you know its the rail.
