I don't recall ever seeing it in my Compact ACOG.

Looks like a problem to me. I don't see anything like that when viewing through my Compact ACOG (a TA50-2).

It is quite obvious despite not being directly in the field of view. Hence my query here. It does draw the eye to it and is a distraction. It is going back to Trijicon and I'm confident that they will take care of me.

If your head is in the proper position for eye relief and alignment, it shouldn't be very noticable or distracting.

I would not accept a product of this price to look like this/have this problem....

If you have the 2x model, normal.

Try mounting the scope slightly farther away.

i have a 2x and its the same way, actually never noticed it till this thread

got a cheek weld and started sighting and didnt notice the deal you are complaining about.
