Finally getting into the black rifle market and need some verification on a potential build. Nothing hugely spectacular, but should be functional out of the gate. I'm in CA, so keep that in mind for any potential suggestions. Lower - High Standard (good deal from a local shop) - Bullet Button kit - Houge Grip - I'll need some 10/30 round mags to be CA compliant. Suggestions? Upper - Stag Rifle kit for $633 found here --> ar15sa.fatcow.com/store/page2.html Optics will come later as money/deals are found. Is there anything I'm missing that will need to be added? |

I'm not sure if your lower is coming with it, but you will need a Lower Parts Kit (LPK) and a stock, buffer tube, buffer spring, and buffer. As for the 10/30 mags here's a good website (Calegalmags.com). Thats the 10/30 Pmags, but he also makes 10/20 mags and those smoke see through mags in 10/30's. He's really quick when you place an order, unless he's swamped with orders. When I ordered from him he was really backed up, but it only took him a week from when I ordered until I had them in hand. Theres a couple other websites I've found as well, but this guy has the better price... |
