So I just finished my 2nd build!!! My first was a 14.5" that is set up to be a light and quick CQB style rifle. This 2nd build is more of a DMR / SPR setup that I can take out to the range and stretch it's legs and have more long range fun with. I've also been thinking about checking out some 3 gun matches in my area so this would also fulfill that role should I choose to jump into the comp world. The only thing left I really need to do to this guy is swap out the mil spec trigger for a Geissele SSA ... the moment the funds become available that'll happen.
Lower: AERO Precision Receiver CMMG LPK BCM Mod 3 Grip Magpul MOE stock (will likely swap that out with a Magpul SPR stock ... someday) Upper: AERO Precision Receiver WMD NibX BCG BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle White Oak Armament 18" SPR profile barrel with rifle length gas Midwest Industries Gen II SS Free Float Handguard JP Bennie Cooley Muzzle Brake I went ahead and threw my Primary Arms Gen 2 1-6x scope on it. It was on my 14.5" build but I think I'll probably keep it on this guy and get an RDS to put on my 14.5" setup. Can't wait to get it out to the range this weekend!!! The lighting kind of sucks in these pictures, may try to update them tomorrow when I have some good daylight to work with.
