New Griffin taper mount EZ Brake came in, mounted up. NOW we've got plenty of room in the Scythe blast chamber. EZ Brake comes in at ~ 36mm OAL which is much better. Gun gained a bit of weight, now 6lb 7.8oz (this is with the anchor brake installed, not the flat end cap) Works for me. Now to get it out and shoot it..

Updated profile comparisons WC 8" - Rosco 8.2" - BA Hanson 8.3" - PSA 8.5" - Green Mountain 12.5" I think my favorite profile is still the Faxon Gunners because of how light they are. I wish they made a 1-7 twist. Both my 7.5" and 10.5" are 1-8. That Rosco is about the same weight as the BA Hanson. Look how thick the Rosco is up front. |

Got mine to the range tonight. Seema on par with every other 300 Blk barrel I've had as far as accuracy goes. I put 70-80 rounds through it, the bulk of which was my 125gr Speer TNT load. Shot some 110gr TAC-TX which I think I need to be more selective on brass to get to group better. I shot 5 rounds of AAC 220gr OTM as well as two 5 round load ladders of 220gr Blue Bullets subs I loaded. I should try some factory 110gr vmax to see if it group any better. I did use a rest and bag for the rear. Best groups were around an inch at 50 yards. Attached File |

Late to the party but finally assembled & tested Wilson barrel, Superlative AGB, Microbest chrome bcg, Armaspec SRS-c buffer, Aero m4e upper/lower, PRI Gasbuster, YHM Resonator Light & handy, 9lbs as it sits loaded w/ 220s Ran a few mags of AAC 220gr subs & 125gr supers without issue and not too gassy  |

What a SAD state of affairs.. I've still yet to get my build out and vet / test / have some fun. Fuck'n back pain has ruled my life bad this year. Dear lord.. all that research / procurement and building with nothing to add. I'll admit, half the fun for me is getting there so to speak. But, still, damn it! Oh well, such as life. Truthfully, I've yet to get my 10/22 build out as well. Pic, cause we all like pics

In the summer of ‘23 I decided I wanted to build a pistol in 300 Blackout. I have a 9” Blackout SBR, but I wanted something more compact that would fit in a small-ish backpack. You know, for reasons. Rainier had a Spinta Precision 8” Blackout barrel, CHF and nitrided, on sale for $150. I bit. A Law Tactical folder and a YHM can later I had a 300 Blackout barrel “pistol” that I wanted. I don’t have a great picture, but the barrel is beautifully turned and lightweight. It also cycles subs and supers suppressed and without the can. I do need to find a super and suppressed load that it likes. Attached File Attached File |

Haven't chrono'd them at this elevation yet, but glad my 110 TAC-TX still shoots in my 11.3 Wilson Combat build. (the top hole is 2) Attached File (18.8g Lil Gun, CCI 450, 2.250") No pressure signs maybe I'll pop it up to 19.0 and see what it do. Gonna have to remember the bloody chrony one of these days.

I'm still having run running FRT subs through my green machine posted above I picked up a Ti can (Trash Panda) to lighten it up even more Thinking about swapping out the old PA Cyclops optic with it's tiny reticle for something like the newer SLx prism with the nicer ACSS |
