I have a stage II trigger on my cav II, 6.8 spc. I reworked it a bit got it light, and crisp, and that was fine with a 223, but when I used it on 6.8 spc it would double tap due to the extra recoil.

I set it back up the way it was.

Can anyone recommend a crisp break, adjustable light trigger.

If that's what occurred you went too far with stoning it.

I have a 6.5 Grendel and a FAL and never have doubles.

Are you certain that you did not play with the sear engagement?

It should be squared to the radius, if not it will double, and can land you in the pokey.

I'm not sure if the RRA trigger for the AR (223) will fit in the 6.8. But i have one of there two stage triggers in my POF and i love it.

The RRA two stage can benefit from a session on the buffing wheel, just don't be over zealous.
