Gun will be a new FN SPR A1 , 24" barrel .308.... I want recommendations on whats 'the best' and whats 'good for the $' . I have a couple of EOTechs, an ACOG and a couple of Leupolds and all have been great, clear and trouble free. I am thinking I want an adjustable power, lit reticle, 30mm tube etc...something in the 3x-18x magnification range should be adequate, and have been considering USOptics, leupold, schmidt & bender (sp?), Zeiss and anything else you guys can suggest or recoomend from experience |

USO, S&B, Leupold, and Nightforce are at my top of the list. The NF 2.5-10x24mm outstanding scopes and would work great for this setup. If you are look for a scope that you can range at any power then look at the USO 1.8-10x and the S&B 3-12x50mm but will willing to pay 2k and up. The Leupold offer really good scopes for a really good price and I love their M2 1/2moa turret. Here is my S&B 4-16x50mm  Here is a USO’s CSGW-ST10 the variables are the same in size.  Here is a Leupold 2.5-8x36mm with the M2 1/2moa turret.  Here is a NF 2.5-10x24mm  If you do not need to range at any power then really take a look at the Nightforce and the Leupold.
