I am trying to decide which trigger to use on my Varmint AR rig and am about ready to melt gown with all the info out there.  I like two stage design but the pull weight is a real head scratcher.  The Jard with 2 pounds is the kind of trigger I am use to in my bull barrel bolt guns but it seems like standard NM with 4.5-5 pounds is more common but that is very heavy considering what I am use to.  So, what would be my best choice for Varnmint only lower?

Thanks in advance,
Adrian

KAC with 3.5# insert is the best I have ever tried.

Don't worry about it, I ordered a JP drop in from Grant.

+1 for the CMC

For now on all of my ARs will have a CMC! I'm sold.

Me too. I own comp triggers from Colt, RRA, Accuracy Speaks, and JP.

The KAC is bulletproof and worth the price.

I like the Jard. I got the pull down to 1 lb. but that was too light for me. I simply put a slightly heavier spring in to get it up to 2 lbs. Make sure you Locktite the screws after you get it set.

I love it!  I have a JP kit trigger in my Bushmaster lower and everyone who's shot it gets this huge manical grin on their face as they start shooting faster and faster, realizing how light and responsive the trigger is.

On the bench or on the tac range, I really have fun with the JP Enterprises trigger.

Is it the drop in version? I bought one of them but haven't had a chance to install it yet. I wonder if I should have purchased the standard instead.

I use three different triggers in various lowers, the KAC 2 stage, LMT 2 stage, and LMT single stage.
Very pleased with all three, but if I could have only 1, it would absolutely be the KAC.

One more vote for the KAC, have one in the AR10T also, well worth the price, just install them and forget about it.

As I said in my post, it's the kit version, not the drop-in.
