ARs? Idk they all have a distinct role but all do more of the same for all them. Probably my Mod H? Length is decent, velocity is good, it's super quiet, have taken a doe at 400yds with a 70gr TSX, hogs with thermal it's a solid gun which I love. Bolt rifles XM3 bar none. |

I will say i actually have the hardest time shooting it comparatively speaking to my modern rifles, partly because the LOP is so fucking long. I don't print nearly as good groups as my comp gun, my 7 sherman short, or any of my modern stocks. I still need to get my local smith to install the CMP mount then it's done. Right now my current load for it is 174gr ELD VT at 2580 which I've ran to 900yds on 10" steel. Then FGMM 185gr jugs are at 2505, which kinda defeats me loading. |

My favorite is my Savage model 12 in 204 w/ a 6.5-20 x 40 vari x lll. It holds .3"; If you make me choose an AR, I'll take my 204 Heavy Wilson SS 24" on a Aero lower w/ a Geissle trigger, topped with a 6-18 x 40 vari x lll. It shoots .5 moa all day. |

 I have several, ultimately, this is my fav. As it were, i attended the July GBRS classes that Classic Firearms did the three part series about that was released over the last few weeks. That is where that pic was taken. I was next to the young lady from CF on the firing line and i am the jackass in the background of the first vid making snarky comments. She and i became the peanut gallery of the class. She has a hell of a sense of humor. In spite of the drama surrounding GBRS, or the hate they get for things like the hydra, the instructors are top notch, good people, and genuinely there to help people learn and become better shooters. It was a very fun class. |

Attached File Wilson chrome lined 16" pencil barrel, old Bushmaster top end, Continental lower rec, H buffer and gunshow buffer tube and stock. 3 point Blackhawk sling. Light and easy to carry, Trijicon reflex sight. 2" groups, and it will shoot Sierra 77s. Had the reflex rebuilt about 3 months before Trijicon discontinued service on that model. Built during the ban, about 1996. I have others, but this is my primary. Round count about 3k, maybe more. |

Since this is in an AR15 sub forum I figured OP was asking if I was carrying an AR which one would I carry. I built this one just over 20 years. Built many since. Like most of them for one reason or another, but this is the one I keep near the bed, load into the car/truck for every road trip and grabbed here awhile back when 5 or 6 unknown cars suddenly rolled up my road and started stopping along the road out front. Suddenly realized several cars of people had some reason to unload, gather at the gate to the horse pastures across the road from the house and go in the gate. Attached File Been so long since I built it the only things I remember is the barrel (chrome lined 16" pencil weight/profile) is from RRA. The chromed bolt was also from RRA. The trigger is also from RRA. It has a pretty standard carbine buttstock and a quadrail. GI sling. And a SUIT. I just really like those things. Have one on another AR15, too. |

It's pretty hard to nail it down to one favorite. But this is my first SBR. It's nothing special, but it's special to me. Built on a PWS lower, DD 10.3", Hodge BCG, LaRue trigger, Geissele MK4, etc. It serves as my house long gun. It has never failed me. Attached File |
