[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Upper Receiver MIL-SPEC Dimensions

I have been looking for an AR-15 upper receiver blueprint with MIL-SPEC dimensions and tolerances but have not found anything. Does anyone know what the MIL-SPEC dimension and tolerance is for the upper receiver bolt-carrier BORE?

I can't remember for sure, but I think it is 1.00 +- .001. I will look it up tomorrow and let you know. Craig

I found a partial drawing with 1.000 +/- 0.002, but it is uncertain of drawings origins.

1.000 - .0 + .002 is the dim for the bore retaining the barrel extension. The remainder of the bore that houses the carrier is larger. I can get you the dim tomorrow.

I know lots of tomorrows, haha 1.010 comes to mind, but can check for sure for you.
