Ok did my second build, everything went ok Just shot the AR, trigger does not reset after firing, if you push the trigger forward it works fine. Ammo is Brown Bear, works just fine in my other AR.... If you pull the trigger on an empty chamber, and cycle the action the trigger resets, no problem What the heck is going on here? Any help would be appreciated Thanks |

Pull the FCG and start checking for burs. The ends of the trigger (both inside and out) followed by dry fitting the pin in the trigger to check for free rotation. Add the disco to the hand fitting, and confirm that the disco is not binding on the pin as well. Check the leading edges of the disco and hammer secondary sear for burs. Double check the springs install to confirm that they are in correct. Check to confirm that you have installed the pistol grip washer. If not, then the end of the bolt will protrude into the bottom of the receiver, and not allow the trigger to return all the way back to rest. Lastly, make sure that you have CLP lubed all the FCG parts before putting them back in. You have parkerized parts against parkerized parts (both rough) and with a little lube and live fire, will self polish each other out. www.ar15.com/content/guides/assembly/lower/ |
