Hi,

I just purchased an AR with a Timney trigger, and I am having problems with the trigger resetting for the next shot.
If I turn the safety lever to safe and then to fire again the trigger resets and I can depress it and fire another round but once i fire that round the same problems occurs.

What could it be?

I've had this problem with 2 timney AR triggers before.

Here is what it boils down to...

There is an adjuster screw in the disconnector (centered behind the hammer) which is supposed to be factory preset and not intended for the end user to tamper with, mine had a dried blob of plastic covering the recessed allen key socket in the screw.

You can send it back to them, or adjust it yourself. Mine needed maybe 1/4 to 1/2 turn on the screw.

I have not seen a Timney trigger before...with that said..
It looks as if the one on the right (small one) would adjust the disconnector...
The disconnector will catch the "hook" on the back side of the hammer.

The "small" one on the disconnector is the one I was referring to..
