Just got this Mk16 (blem, got it at such a discount that I feel like a thief). Couldn't even see the blemish part. I don't know why I hadn't ordered it earlier (a Mk14 was sitting on this rifle before it) - but I corrected it now. I was looking for a Black or Tan MK 1 or 2. I found this attached to a Noveske upper for only 1300. I contacted Geissele and they say it's the only OD Green Mk 1 or 2 in existence and was given away as a promotion. It's definitely anodized. I was going to paint it but now that I know its the only one I'll either sell (if the price is right and/or to a proper collector) or put it on a special gun. I was going to use this upper as my main fighting rifle but now I'm thinking different. I'm hoping to find another Black MK1 or 2 at some point. |
