So I needed a new deer hunting rifle and this is what I ended up with, a RRA LAR-8...

Here's my SHTF/truck gun, with a TA01(amber crosshairs) and discreet carrying case. I built this gun from the ground up to be an all around gun, and purposely wanted the A2 upper. The A2 allows me to access iron sights for extremely close ranges, and it doesn't mount the ACOG too high. Hits out to 300 yards are very easy, and the light allows me to engage out to 75 yards without any trouble.
This is my bedside rifle, a 16" with a TA33R-8 in GG&G mount, with red chevron. 
Another 16" build with a TA01 NSN (red crosshairs with tritium front sight). 
...and here is the behemoth, a 16" precision build with a TA55. 12" long, and weighs 26 oz. Glass is great, though, and picks up well in low light.
