I live in hot, humid Florida.  Recently, I started noticing some corrosion (brownish crap) on the pins and bolts of my accessory rails.  It didn't come off easy with CLP or GunScrubber, and I don't want to scratch up my SPR.  Anyone got a good cleaner they can recommend for this?  Also, anything that would remove the pitting discolorations on my 1911?

Clean it up, refinish it with Norrells....

I've never had a problem removing surface runs using Breakfree CLP and a bit of elbow grease. After you get it cleaned up keep the barrel lightly coated with CLP.

bF CLP or any other penteranting oil and a bronze brush will do the trick.
