A rifle buffer and rifle length action spring.
The type of stock determines the type of buffer/spring, not the gas system. A1 or A2 stock = rifle buffer, rifle spring carbine stock = carbine buffer (they come in different weights like standard, H2, etc.) and carbine spring. ETA: Wow, 2001 join date, 21 posts.
