Due to cost and lack of funds I am going to have to build my next AR to get it done the way I want it  I have decided that I want a side charging upper but I am struggling to find a good price
Right now I have found two companies that are making the uppers American Spirit Arms - $375 with bolt carrier minus bolt LAR grizzly through DPMS - $400 with bolt carrier (don't know if it had the bolt) Is there anyone else out there that is making the side charging uppers and selling them for a decent price? Thanks Total specs of the gun will be Stripped lower - $100 WOA lower parts minus FCG and grip - $40 Gisielle (sp?) SSA trigger - $140 Magpul MAID - $40 Vltor Emod Stock kit - $180 Side charging upper - ~$400 AR performance 16" recon 6.8 lightweight barrel bolt combo - $275 low profile gas block - $20 gas tube ~ (no idea on price) YHM QD flash suppressor - already have JTAC TROY EXTREME handguard - $170 Anything that I am missing other than sling, bipod, grips, or sights? good price and good quality, If I went that route who would I get to do the bolt carrier?
I found Young Manufacturing for the bolt carrier for $125  So the total price for the two would be $271 wich is much better than $400 that DPMS wants or $375 ASA wants (although ASA is non-reciprocating).
What do you guys think of Young Manufacturing? Here is link but work computer won't let me put it as a hot link
