Overall SAR show haul. Grabbed more than I thought at the show when I got it all sorted out. I got the Vickers Guide signed by Reed Knight and Curtis Debord and then the magazines are articles in SAR that Chris Cox over at Russian Paint wrote about the HR and GM rifles. Grabbed 3 m231 stock sets that were a great deal 1 for myself and a couple to rehome later, m16 mug by Dennis Todd, XM16E1 upper that I’ll use to make my 606 correct, the m16 cartridge book I’ve been looking quite a while for, armalite prototype stock mold, a few 901 80% from the rest of the 901 casts that were made, quite a few nos a1 butt plates, aluminum colt carrier, SCW stock parts to finish my kit, 604 upper, edgewater buffer, 933 kit, IAR upper with the patent in the upper and a good amount of NOS teardrops. All in all a good show as always. Also talked with Reed quite a bit about the prototypes he has while showing him the mold and the Vickers Guide. He mentioned that #4 is a solid wood stock and handguard and that the heat shield were just aluminum foil that they glued on. Same aluminum foil was used on #1. It was neat talking to him about some of my mags as he didn’t know what some of them were. Throughout the show I also met people from here as well as other forums so that’s always fun. a few 901 80% from the rest of the 901 casts that were made Nice haul. I’d love to see your collection.  I’m a 901 Junky. Could you expand more on the ‘rest of the casts’ comment? There’s allot of back and forth if the 901 will ever be revived or if the Canada version is from the same castings. |

A company bought everything colt had 901 related including all the 901 lower castings. They then made a handful into 80% lowers and I bought what they had at the show with them. |
